Support network

The FIRE support network is a safe online space for women, educators, trainers and social service providers. Here you can share experience, ask questions and encourage each other. Trained professionals from the partner organisations moderate every group. You join with a nickname: your real name is not needed, and nobody sees your email address.

This is peer support, not an emergency service. Posts are not read around the clock. If you are in danger now, call 112. For free, confidential help at any time, call 1522 in Italy, 116 016 in Germany or 800 202 148 in Portugal, or see the Find support page.

Code of conduct

  • Use a nickname. Do not share your full name, address, phone number or other details that could identify you or anyone else.
  • Agree to the code of conduct when you sign up. Be kind and respectful, and listen without judging.
  • What is shared in the network stays in the network. Do not copy or screenshot other members' posts.
  • Your first posts are checked by a moderator before they appear.
  • Use the report button if a post worries you or breaks the rules. A moderator looks at every report.
  • Share only what you wish to. You can leave the network and delete your account at any time.
  • No advertising, no fundraising and no requests for money or personal contact details.
  • Moderators offer support and point to services. They do not give legal or financial advice in individual cases.
